Douglas has a 29 year long career as a licensed Physical Therapist. His work experience ranges from rehabilitation centers, Outpatient therapy, home health agencies, pediatric practices and on-site industrial therapy to several large corporations.

In 2005 Douglas opened two outpatient physical therapy clinics in Oahu, Hawaii. Both clinics, Island Neuro Rehab and Hawaii Kai Physical Therapy, specialize in balance training, orthopedic, and neurologic injuries. As his passion for helping active senior clients grew, Douglas started a personal training business in 2016, to focus his work helping these individuals improve their independence.

Over the years, Dr. Weiss has helped thousands of clients each year improve their function and independence. He has trained physical therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapy assistants, and students on balance education. Dr. Weiss has been a lecturer and instructor in several courses in physical therapy and science at the high school and college level. He continues to serve as a clinical instructor for physical therapists and assistants for several Universities.

Doug's mission is to help people maintain their ability to walk as long as possible. He continues to achieve this by providing groundbreaking education to personal trainers, therapy aides, physical therapists and occupational therapists through the Neurolastic approach.
